Under the Bildungsurlaub scheme, you can now study English at St Brelade’s College in Jersey.
The school is a recognised provider of these programmes by the following federal states of Germany:
- Hamburg
- Hessen
- Niedersachsen
- Rheinland-Pfalz
- Saarland
- Sachsen-Anhalt
- Schleswig-Holstein
Based on legal regulations, German employees in almost all federal states can apply for a minimum of five days education leave per year. This allows students at St Brelade’s College to improve their English for their work, whilst mixing with other international students and exploring the beautiful island of Jersey.
Students have the option to stay in our stylish student residence which has been recently refurbished. It is located in the harbour village of St Aubin which is just a short walk from the school and a range of restaurants and pubs. Alternatively, for full immersion, students can choose to stay in a homestay around the island.
