Training to safeguard vulnerable people from being radicalised

St Brelade’s College understands its responsibilities under the Counter Terrorism & Securities Act 2015 to prevent people of all ages being radicalised or drawn into terrorism and seeks to meet its obligations following its policies and procedures. Radicalisation and extremism are both forms of abuse and staff, hosts, residence staff, group leaders are made aware that all such concerns need to be reported in line with our usual child protection procedures and policies in place. St Brelade’s College teaching staff are obliged to complete an online Prevent awareness training course.
