Safe practices to protect students, staff and hosts
Updated: 17th October 2023
In July 2023 the Government of Jersey marked the end of Jersey’s COVID-19 response, aligning Jersey with other jurisdictions.
Islanders are no longer specifically advised to stay home for five days if they have COVID-19. If anyone experiences symptoms of COVID-19, or is unwell, they should stay home until they feel better. For current information please visit the Government website.
The St Brelade’s College policy for students, staff members and hosts, is as follows:
- Safe practices: St Brelade’s College remains committed to protecting our students, staff members & hosts from the transmission of Covid-19. We will therefore follow the latest government health guidance and continue to advise safe practices for all our staff and students.
- Positive Covid-19 cases: If a student tests positive for Covid-19 it may still be necessary to stay at home for a period of time until they feel better. We advise that all students have travel insurance in place to cover them, in the event that they test positive either before travel or whilst in Jersey and cannot participate in the course.
